Today was a big day. Today I was surrounded with loads of foreign teenagers, who came to have their pictures taken for a new product plan of my company. I won't go into details about the new product, but I will be going to England anytime during next month till the end of summer break, related to that work.
It's been a while since I last spoke in English at work, so I was a little nervous and worried, but every0ne of the models were so fluent in Japanese! They were so fluent that they were actually worried about their skill in English more than Japanese.
Anyways, this whole new product idea has been taking my mind back to the older days when I used to live in London. At that time I had no knowledge of English at all, not even the alphabet -- so everyday I learned something new. I remember the first word I learned was "kite" for some reason, I don't remember why :-)
My family and I lived in Edgeware, the suburban area of London. Not a very rich area, but the people whom I met there were all very kind and heart warming. My mom used to walk me to school every day, and every day we would talk to the traffic lady who helped us cross the street safely. She was an old lady, probably in her 60's, very sweet, loving and kind. On the way to school, we would walk a long a stream that lead us through a park and lead us along gardens of homes. I remember the color schemes of the gardens, made of a variety of greens with a flash of pinks and yellows from the flowers. It was a beautiful sight and was fun to walk along every day.

This picture is of the sea shore of Black pool. Very nostalgic and beautiful sight.
