A walk in the park

Last weekend my husband and I went for a walk in a park nearby. The park is called Mizumoto Ko-en, and it's HUGE! I mean it too -- believe it or not. It's hard to believe that it's a part of Tokyo.

If you still don't belive it, see this!
This is within the park if you believe it or not.

I have a feeling this is going to be our favourite place :-)

What a fantastic place for you to picnic on the weekends! I enrolled in japanese language classes for the summer. I am missing 4 classes due to my trip to Paris. But I hope if I can get a jump on studying this month, before classes start on July 1, then I can catch up easily when I return from the trip mid July.

Wow, is this near your new apartment? I'll have to look it up on google maps at some point to see where you live in Tokyo now. Thanks so much for sharing the pictures! I'm so glad you have a park that lovely nearby, where you can go whenever the mood suits you. ^_^ Things are still somewhat crazy here, and I've been bad on email again, so thanks for your patience. I'll write you a really long email as soon as I can! When do you go to England? That will be so much fun for you! Wish I could meet you there; it might be like that summer we went together, only without dad and Terry dragging us all over town without calling us a cab when we were tired. :P

Sara,
Isn't it? It's too big that you can't walk through all of it in a day!! Isn't that unbelieveable?

Can't wait to hear your Japanese :-) Good luck! Let me know if I can help! :-P

Kaerra,

Please do look it up on google! It's a good way to see how huge the place is! I was so excited to find such a place -- Shige and I both crave for nature :-)
