My husband took me out to dinner for my birthday last night :-)
We had "Una-jyu" which is eel barbecued. It probably sounds unpleasant for most people reading this blog -- but "unagi"(eel) is a special dish that people enjoy eating during summer season. It's healthy and also good for stocking energy in your system for the very humid and hot Japanese summer.
We went to a restaurant specialised in "Unagi" located in Asakusa.
It's located on the river side of Sumida river, and the restaurant is very peaceful and quiet.
Dinner was delicious!

Happy Birthday, Okomot!!! ^_^ What a lovely meal for your birthday! You know, Mike's got me eating more things these days, so I would probably try your eel dish, unless it's super spicy (that I still can't do anything about, sadly). But I'm so glad that you enjoyed it! How is the pregnancy coming along these days?
