holiday cards and handmade gift

Last holiday I made my greeting cards using my recent tool, illustrator.
I've been going to a design school to learn the skills needed to use the tool, but I haven't been able to go since my pregnancy.
So I took out my text book and did some review. It took me too long to make these cards, but the attempt didn't turn out that badly, don't you think?

here is attempt one: Christmas card,
attempt two: New year card
I also did worked on a hand making project -- a gift for my coworker who is working in place for me while I'm taking my break to give birth and raise my child.
She wanted a new shoulder bag for holding her cell phones she uses for work. So I made a shoulder bag with hand made felt, which I made from zero. I attached three buttons on each side, and attached a leather strap which you can adjust the length by moving the button hole.
I hope she likes it! :-)

how awesome! What a very swet gift for you to make. I've never used felt, you'll have to tell me more about it. By the way, you are adorable with your belly and sun dress.

Wow, you've been productive, far more so than I've been in the past few months! I love your cell phone bag, and I'm sure your co-worker will too! ^_^

Do you still have a lot of energy this late in the pregnancy, or are you just ready for the baby to be born already? My sister-in-law had to wait longer for her second daughter to be born than she did with her first, and I remember she got really tired of being pregnant by then--I hope it's not like that for you!

I agree with Sara, your sundress is adorable! I just bought more maternity clothes the other day and it's so much nicer to have a real wardrobe of them again, especially jeans that look nice and are super comfortable in the belly area! It's wonderful to know that being pregnant doesn't mean you have to wear clothes that are radically different in style from what you wore before, because the variety is so good. ^_^
